Its been a while since I have highlighted a few themes here on The Symbian Blog, so I decided it was time to make some amends and here are eight killer themes for your Nokia N97, they should work on other S60 5th Edition devices as well.

As always, my focus has been on finding quality themes that you will not grow out of quickly. I’ve also tried to maintain a nice mix of dark and light themes.

Sadly, I still haven’t been able to get my hands on a 5800, but that has not stopped me from scouting the internet for the best Nokia 5800 (N97/S60 v5) themes. Here is a collection of eight themes for you to have fun with.

The title of the post is a little misleading, the themes are not only for the E71 but should work well on most S60 third edition handsets. The reason I’ve specifically mentioned the E71 is because they go wonderfully with its dark grey exterior. Ricky has made an easter theme and put it up for all to download. I just came across this neat Flash Lite file that transforms the S60 devices into an iPhone for all those of you who like the slick interface. It is not compatible with Flash Lite 3 but runs smoothly on the inbuilt Flash application. It is great to use as a screensaver also. However certain icons such as YouTube do not perform the corresponding task.

Rita has probably made the find of the year! She’s just found Nokioteca, the homeland of all glorious Italian themers like Jendell, Ivanov, Giambi, Gnokkia, Babi, Pasco, Pizero, Luca and Lillium to name a few! Whether you are a theme freak or someone like me who just likes clean, plain and polished themes its a must visit.
