After it is updated….. the only way to get all our application installed again is to FORMAT.
FOR FORMATTING N78,
FOLLOW THE STEPS:
1. SWITCH OFF THE PHONE
2. PRESS “MULTIMEDIA”key + “*” + “calling receiving” key.
3.HOLDING THE ABOVE KEYS TURN ON THE PHONE AND U R DONE…..

GUYS ALWAYS HELP OTHERS BY SHARING KNOWLEdGE.
I GOT IT FROM SOME OTHER PEOPLE AND I HELPED U.

Please Please someone help me…….My Video gallery doesn’t work anymore…. When I select it it will open and then I get the video list but about 1 or 2 seconds later the gallery just shuts down. I Love my Video gallery because I can put the videos in different folders. Also before I upgraded my firmware alot of videos wouldn’t save in video gallery and some would only save in video gallery but not in photo gallery. And is there another way to change the videos name other than in photo gallery? And my phone hecticly freezes now like seriously bad…. What can I do?

well the only solution left is to download the SOCAIL PLAYER ( music player ) it’s sound is cool but hav no eqalizer… that’s main prob … and i buy this phone only for music.. shitman ….& it also some times hangs also …

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
I just updated my N78 (previous FW is 10.135) to 20.149.
Now the Problem is :

1.ALL Menu Transition are GONE
All Transition Effects are Totally gone. FxCK YOU NOKIA.
I really admire my N78 in FW 10.135 cos it’s so beauty with it’s transition effect. And now….. WHAT THE FxCK…
Now My Nokia N78 menu is same as Nokia 6120c (No Transition Effect At All).

2.The NaviWhell Sensitivy is decreased
Previous FW i only have to scroll 90degrees to make a move. Now i have to scroll 360degree to make a move.

3.Share online in Standby Screen is really Ugly cos The ICON is not matching at all with other Nokia Icon (even with the default theme)

4.Video Centre menu is not in 3D no more. in FW 20.149 it’s just a LIST MENU compare THE 3D Rotating Menu in FW 10.135.

5.The Action Menu (Centre Click) is no more Transition Effect.
In FW 20.149 the letter (open,select,etc) is just changing instantly. In FW 10.135 when the Action Menu changed, they going down and going up again (THE EFFECT IS SO NICE, and now in FW 20.149 the effect is gone).

I tell you only the major changes, cos i just update my N78 a hour ago.

BUT, I REALLY REGRET HAVE UPDATED MY NOKIA N78.
COS IT’s NOT BEAUTY NO MORE.

Is there any way to downgrade my FW back to 10.135????

Just trying to update my V12.046 to this new version and I can’t find it anywhere. PC Suite tells me there’s no update, so does the nokia.co.uk site. FOTA the same. Is this a country-specific update?

Brian eu need first to update for v12 by Nokia Suite, and only then you can update to v20 by FOTA.

The mig33 application opens as normal but cant get connected to the internet as i have mentioned that all programmes relating to internet are working fine…..so am helpless now!!!

Yeah for all who ever has updated to this new version there isn’t any hack available yet and for all who have hacked and the installserver.exe if its left in the C:sys/bin folder you want be able to install a thing.. so only choice is *#7370# hope this helps……..

As a shortcut to all problems you can simply backup your data, format the phone using *#7370# and then only restore the contacts, calender, notes and bookmarks. Delete all the hidden folders on the card via the computer and you should be good to go.
