Mobile TV seems nice, but I preffer music more. When listening it gives me time to look around and think about other things.

But, awesome option.

Wow, my country rocks!
Vaibhav, if its not too much of an effort, could you use another phone to capture an image of N96 running a TV channel ? Possible a video ?
So, its definitely not working outside Delhi. Mumbai et all ?

[...] It’s always interesting seeing long term tests of phones, i.e. from people who have lived with a device intensively for a while. In this case, Symbian Smashpop has lived with the Nokia N96 for a month (and no, I still haven’t even seen one - go figure) and here presents a list of loves and hates. In other news, Vaibhav has been trying out the DVB-H TV in the N96 and comes away very impressed. [...]

nice post...pushes to change my views in favour of the N96...it is good as a complete package...but still i think it does not have enough to make a high end n-series user change his phone.

Hardeep, while I was in Delhi I tried taking screenshots of it in action. But sadly when the TV was live and I took a shot, all I got was a blank black screen.

But I can vouch for the quality completely.

This is one trick up N96's sleeve that I knew would work in its favour, atleast in India for sure. @Vaibhav, Please add some screenshots of Doordarshan, although nobody watches it these days but its still better than not having anything.
