Bought this yesterday... Can say I'm happy :)

Price was 4.46 million IDR (about 520 USD I guess), which is on the expensive end of things also compared to prices I found online but that's life here in Indonesia.

Anyway, it's really worth the price for its value.

My runner up was HTC S730, which is about the same price as this one, but has Windows Mobile 6 Standard (I guess good), lacks GPS, and only 2 MP camera.

I was hesitating to leave the WM6 device... but I'm now happy with my E71. :)

Well, I've got myself an e71, as of last week, and it's brilliant. The keyboard takes a little getting used to, as with all new phones, eg, the backspace button. It's solid construction compared to some other phones I've seen and it's nice and slim.

I've used iphones, and well... you can see I got this one. (that and the fact of the price). I'm yet to try and sync it with my mac, but I believe it can.

Now to learn how to write programs for it. It only there was a really really easy 1 click method of downloading all the bits you need to make the development environment work.

Complete review for Nokia E71 i've ever know on internet. Based on your view among Nokia E Series, that one of consideration to choose this Nokia is about size. I disagree with you because to the almost same function for web, mail, battery, music and also camera we can refer to Nokia E 51. This Nokia E 51 is still the best choice for me.

very apt vaibhav. Good review. I am a business user but still not trade off my n 82 for this just yet. The camera has become a primary consideration for me now! However, one point i will differ on is blackberry bold. Its not an 'absolute crap.' its a good phone and the 2 mp camera will (going by pearl standards) snap better pics than e71. The keypad also is slightly curved which on a phone qwerty is much preferred when you are into heavy thumbing. My thoughts.
