Following on from the N78, the venerable 6220 Classic has received an “over-the-air” update which takes its current firmware version to 3.23. The release v3.23 includes improved stability with Bluetooth (headsets & car kits) and Navigation. The 1.5 MB update is available via the device manager – Menu > Settings > Data Mgr. > Device Manager. Select Options > Check for Updates.

It has almost become an accepted fact that Eseries devices from Nokia have better build quality than their Nseries siblings, for a long time I thought so too. However, for the good or the bad, that belief of mine has been shattered. Eseries devices have disappointed too and that leads me to this post.

The reason I am so happy about the release date being advanced to early September is because the iPhone is all set to rear its head in India on August the 22nd at an exorbitant 700$ plus price.
