Nokia has just made the rumoured N810 WiMax tablet official. Its basically the same tablet with WiMax included. It features a great 4.13″ touchscreen, a built-in GPS, a QWERTY keyboard and runs OS2008. It also has a darker metallic finish and a orange base tone. More pictures. This will turn out to be one of my most favourite applications. It simply allows you to sent a short text message to anyone any number of times you want in just one go. All you need to to do is ender the number of the ‘victim’, your message and select how many times do you want to send the messaage and thats it, you’ve just nuked him/her.

N96, Rumours »
Bery from the SWB has found the N96 in white on the Nokia Europe website. White till now was an unknown variant but I must say it looks great, much better than the black. However as of now the White N96 has been removed again. Probably goes to show another incident of publishing unreleased products. Keep doing it Nokia we love it!
Generally Nokia releases a product, it sells like hot cakes and then after a while when the sales drop the release a Black version and the sales catapult gain. …

SF has the scoop on the the upcoming N95 8GB firmware v20.0.016. It will finally bring automatic screen rotation a.k.a. the N82. As usual there will be bug fixes and other stability and performance enhancements too. Chief among those are:
- Improvements in HTML format handling from Gmail IMAP server.
- WLAN, BT and USB connectivity improvements.
- Improvements to the Switch application.
- Stability in the Gallery when there is a lot of content.
- Startup functionality improvements

After the stability update a few days ago, as promised, a new version is out that among other things supports WEP security. Thats means that we shall be finally able to turn our WiFi smartphone into a wireless hotspot even in public places without any fear. This version comes with a generous 90 day trial after which it needs to be purchased.
Update: Lasse Maki CEO, Founder JoikuSoft informs us that the lite version will continue to remain free and there will be a premium variant with advanced features later on.

I just came across this nifty little java application that offers the latest scores and ball-by-ball live commentary of all international matches on your phone for free. The mobicast is the same textual commentary that is available on the widely read cricinfo website. Just key in this URL into your phone’s WAP browser to Download.

N96 »
There has been word going the blogosphere that the N96 is in fact going to get a xenon flash instead of the dual LED’s. This has been picked up by Intomobile, The Nokia Blog, Engadget Mobile, SymbianWebBlog and numerous others. I am glad to say that I can confirm this after receiving confirmation from trusted sources. But contrary to popular opinion the LED’s are also going to stay to assist in video capture. The N96 is finally a worthy N9x device!
