If Flickr/Ovi Doesn’t Show Up In Share Online 3
Although a simple refresh of the “Add New Services” option should bring up all the three services namely Ovi, Vox and Flickr up I still cannot get them on the phone OTA without me having to put that extra effort in. Where’s the glitch Nokia?
Anyway there is a very simple solution to the problem, just download the respective configuration (.cfg) file and send it to the phone and save it. Now the services will show up.

Still, we shouldn’t be having to do this!

Have you tried reporting this to the Beta Labs team via the Feedback link on the site? It has also happened to me,specifically I didn’t get Flickr. I don’t mind however, since I have yet to get Flickr, but it is a rather strange issue,I do agree.
I didn’t do that because I am sure a lot of people already have, I was concentrating on the solution!
What is worse is that it will be small things such as this that will pull Ovi and other endeavours back.
Have you tried Wavelog for mobile blogging directly to your own WordPress site without going to ovi, flickr, vox etc?
I haven’t really used it much. But Ovi is very different and the amount of upload space available for a plethora of file types is unmatched.
What’s new, is that the application now supports – in addition to Flickr and Vox – a brand new-service Share on Ovi in following countries:
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Estonia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Laos, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovenia, South-Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine, U.S.A., Venezuela, Vietnam.

Thanks for the heads up! But I wonder why can’t we once for a change have a universal rollout.
Hello,
the Share on Ovi file seems to be missing from Mosh. Did you take it out of there?
Have a problem that Flicker doen’t show up with SoL 3.0 (I see Ovi and Vox). Tried copying flickr.cfg file to the phone, but no result whatsoever? I guessed this might be because Flicker doesn’t support my country, but still…is there no way to cuircumwent this? Went to far to even change the product code on my phone but no luck.
Vaibhav, is there a way to point to the cfg file or should it be stored/saved in a special folder on the phone?
Now I’m using ShoZu to get my pictures up to Flickr, but would like to use SoL if anyone knows how?
Hi Daniel, Did you send the .cfg over bluetooth to the inbox and then open it? Once you do that it should work!
Hi Vaibhav, I got Flickr file and it does not work as OVI Share, I can only upload to Flickr, But With OVI Share i can get updates, Can u tell me is this coz of CFG file or coz i am from india….
Arjun, Updates is a Ovi based service and to my knowledge Flickr doesn’t do that. It has nothing to do with your location.
Thanks for the config files! Flickr worked but for some strange reason, Ovi didn’t.
Hi, is there a way to use Nokia Online share to post to blogger.com?
I’m afraid not. Shozu might help though.
Ovi works fine. Thanks a lot. (N73)
Hi! I downloaded the cfg file, but when I try to open it all I see is a lot of text opened in notepad. Can anybody help me out?
Thanks!
Try downloading the file to the computer and sending it to the phone via bluetooth.
I used a cable, but tried to send the file to another phone with bluetooth and then resend it to my N95, but no matter how I try the config file always opens with notepad
For Blogger support, you may try the latest Wavelog 2 from telewaving.com now it’s much better (I’d say completely new app) and supports all Google services (blogger, picasaweb and youtube) in addition to wordpress, drupal and joomla.
[...] Share Online I could then easily upload the video from the phone itself for the world to see. (Look here if Share on Ovi doesn’t show up in Share Online). That would have been convergence, sadly the N95 has it but the N96 [...]
Thanx a lot Vaibhav! You saved the day for me
When will nokia come over these silly limitations!
I have just tried it. Just send it by Bluetooth but directly to the phone and it will show up
Thanks
It`s help me, both services OK ! Share Online3.0, N95 with SW v.30…
Vaibhav, OVI in Share online is not working anymore, It was working till about 1 week ago, now all it tries to update services then gives message that username/password invalid. Has Nokia/OVI blocked access fron non supported countries? could you please check?
Suyog, I just tried using the CFG to configure my E71 and upload an image. It worked.
Vaibhav, It worked on my N82 but now it’s not working, same case with my E71, may be firmware update is culprit here !!!
Now sadly I can’t use OVI in Share Online, I have to go to Flickr.
MOSH will be gone soon, so I uploaded xml files here:
http://www.4shared.com/file/96286057/96a57894/ShareXml.html
I wonder how should I do it if I have no other phone to send me the file?
Thanks in advance
Alejandro
Well, my sd-card was corrupted so I couldn’t open the file. Now it’s ok, I have Flickr working but I always have to use the 3g connection instead of my wireless. Is there a way to change this so it let me choose?
thanks!
Alejandro
I had the ability to add either Ikbis or Vox using share online on n79 (in saudi arabia).
I had to add flickr using the CFG file. But after v20 update to the phone it removed the flickr profile and i can only add Ikbis as a service, not even VOX!
tried the cfg file and it says “file corrupted”.
I APPRECIATE any help with this issue, right now please warning people not to update if they want to keep uploading to flickr
