Get The Theme Icon Back In The Main Menu: N95

By: Vaibhav Sharma On 22 February 2008 6 Comments

Themes Launcher

The latest v20 firmware on the N95 and firmwares of certain other phones have removed the Themes icon from the main menu and it is only accessible from Tool>Settings and so on. This is inconvenient for those who frequently change their themes or people new to S60.

So in case you want the Themes icon back just install this small utility called ’Themes Launcher’ created by Sittiphol Phanvilai.

Download!

Update: If you do not want to install, Ish’s comment might help!

Thats an easier way, but here’s another.
Go to device manager in the menu, as you open it you will see your firmware info, press right, make a new server profile, input ALL required fields (u can enter any letters/numbers) then save it, then connect, it won’t connect and will give an error.
Now goto the applications folder and the theme icon will be there, after this you can delete the server profile and the theme icon will remain in the menu!

Sorry if this is a bit off topic but what theme are you using in that screen capture? It looks like a very nice theme.

    Thanks!
