Music via the Download! Application
Nokia has added IAC - Independent Artists Club to the list of items available via the Download! application. The IAC menu allows us to download, free of cost a selection of great home grown music covering Generes like Hip-Hop, Rock, Electronica and Pop amongst others.
IAC a Nokia Music Initiative is about the spirit of independance which frives the digital muisc age. Its a hunting ground for fresh sounds, a place to download free music and promote home-grown music in all its hues, clours, generes and sounds.
The full blown experience is available at www.nokia-asia.com/iac. Nokia owners get VIP registration on the website which allows streaming music, downloads and comments. Non Nokia owners get a smaller download limit while anyone can stream music.
I think this is a great move. May be this will ultimately be integrated with the Nokia music store which is a part of the Ovi umbrella. Whichever way its a great resource for all of us!
