i want to share my DSL connection on my E71 without router. i want to use net on e71 with bluetooth or data cable. is it possible. please reply.

I config all the settings as stated above..

but my E63 says..

No gateway repl!!!

i do the above procedure for my N97 and wireless connection is made it also detect and connect to but doesnot open any thing thorugh net and the message appears No Gateway Reply
wht to do can u guide me plz ??

I have a LAN internet connection and want to set up wifi form my NOKIA E71 (using laptop SONY VAIO VGN-FE865E). When I am get to step related to sharing of internet connecion, It allows me to enable sharing internet connction only in settings of wireless connection, in the LAN connection properties is no possibility to allow internet connection sharing. So I have just allowed sharing in Wireless network properties. Than I followed all the steps. However, I am not able to connect to onternet from my NOKIA and in network and sharing center, in relation to wireless network connection with NOKIA, it shows “ACCESS: LIMITED CONECTIVITY” (however NOKIA is conected to network). Can anyboby help me???

Hey just wanna add something…I created the network with a WEP key…And I typed the WEP key when its connecting in the mobile and it worked…So it is secured now right?So why do you create it as an open connection? Im using a N95 8gb..

i dont have a wifi device on my pc but i want to connect my N95 8gb with my pc for internet and file sharing also. can u please tell me what device i have to buy considering my budget is around 1000 rupees. will a wifi usb dongle work? is that the cheapest solution? also tell what model or brand i should buy.

Its probably of no use to me because my laptop’s data card connection is more expensive than my mobile’s internet connection! so i use it the other way round. I make my phone a wi fi router and use my phone’s internet to surf net on my laptop! if you have the similar need, you can probably give Joiku a try. http://www.joikusoft.com it has a free variant and comes with key option also. you can simultaneously run your laptop, ipod and all gadgets on one connection!!

Help me plz I’m using wired Lan (with a cord ) for my internet connection i have (Marvell Yukon 88E8072 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller) and i can’t find the Sharing tab on my properties ,

Ps i had this working today morning but i tryed to use security & that’s when it all got ugly i tryed to make it again like the first time (when i didn’t need any of the above settings) but it just kept giving me the (NO GATE WAY REPLY ) message on my N82

Hi to all from Rome.

I kind of crazy question. Do you have ane notice about the reverse.
I mean, it would be nice to have the phone share its connection. In some cases it would be possible to create a small lan with no wires such on out of office work places.
Any pc (maybe mac filtering and WPA2 would be wise) could have its shared modem/router without having to install all the PC Sync stuff, no matter being Win, Lnx or Mac.
Maybe this already exists, eventually do you have any notice?
